I just had the same exact issue on the same exact phone. after doing some digging it seems like this happens when android has a problem optimizing one or more apps, so it stubbornly retries all of them. so i uninstalled apps one-by-one and rebooted, and the problem went away after uninstalling supersu.. Android is starting... optimizing app 1 of 1. - bad app installation - android system software update is not optimized apps properly. full load your phone. turn off, disconnect from ac. start and wait for the optimization process to come to an end. check settings>battery for app using most battery. deinstall that and reboot.. Stuck on "android is starting... optimizing app 1 of 1." i tried forcing it to shut down then doing a factory reset but it won't let me get that far. it shuts down, restarts, and goes back to the same screen. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution.
